Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to following)
Finance / Accounts:
. Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices
. Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for management review
. Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and financial transactions to optimize liquidity and mitigate risk
. Work closely with compliance team for MAS financial reporting and statutory surveys
. Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants for annual audits and tax filings
. Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making and business growth
. Monitor and manage expenses, revenue streams, and financial performance against budget and targets
. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and other financial requirements
Human Resources:
. Manage the full cycle of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding and offboarding
. Administer employee benefits, compensation, and payroll processes accurately and efficiently
. Lead HR initiatives related to talent management, performance evaluation, and employee engagement
. Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies
. Foster a positive and inclusive work culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion
Administration:
. Oversee daily office operations to ensure efficiency and productivity
. Manage office facilities, equipment, and supplies, including procurement and vendor relationships
. Coordinate travel arrangements, meetings, and events as needed
. Handle correspondence, inquiries, and requests from internal and external stakeholders
. Maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information and documents
. Continuously identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve administrative workflows
Qualifications
. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field, with professional accounting qualification such as CPA or ACCA preferred
. Experience in a Capital Markets Services Licensed (CMSL) entity or capital markets/financial services environment
. Minimum of 5 years experience in finance, human resource management and administration
. Strong understanding of CMSL reporting requirements and relevant regulatory frameworks
. Strong financial acumen and proficiency in financial analysis, reporting and budgeting
. Proficient in Xero Accounting Software and MS Office
. Knowledge of labour laws, employment regulations, and compliance requirements
. Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
