1. Prepare full set of accounts, quarterly financial statements, analysis, and cash flow for the management of the company with team members of the company.
2. Prepare intercompany transactions for reporting to the parent company.
3. Review and improve internal controls to ensure compliance with IFRS and corporate requirements.
4. Coordinate with internal and external auditors, tax consultants for annual audit, tax return, transfer pricing, GST filing.
5. Review annual budget, business plan and quarterly annual forecast reported.
6. Create meeting materials and presentation materials for the parent company's conferences held semi-annually.
7. Provide coaching and training to team members of the company.
8. Provide support to management and members of the organization in daily operation.
9. Close credit monitoring for accounts receivable.
10.Prepar transfer form for Japanese expatriate staff and other application form in Japanese on HR online system and submit to the ultimate parent company in Japan.
11.Attend the meeting and conferences for finance and administration organized by some Japanese organizations associations and report to the company. Arrange the meetings, seminars and site visits as a chair member when appointed by some Japanese organizations.
12.Perform other general assignments in financing, tax practice, legal affairs, personnel affairs, general affairs, IT matters as may be requested by the management of the company.
Requirements: as below
1) Recognized degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA etc.).
2) The Japan Construction Accountant License, Grade1 holder or holder of similar grade and or level license or those with equivalent knowledge and experience required thereunder preferred.
3) The Japan Business Law Examination, Grade2 holder or holder of similar grade and or level license or those with equivalent knowledge and experience required thereunder preferred.
4) Minimum 5years relevant job experience with a senior role in construction companies in Japan a must and having such work experience in Japan preferred.
5) As some board members and the shareholders of the company are based in the headquarters in Japan, Japanese language skills and knowledge at levels of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) Level N1 a must at minimum to discuss and do business, as well as to prepare reports as may be required by the management, board or shareholder of the company. Similar English skills and knowledge preferred.
6) Analytical with good inter-personal skills and ability to work under pressure with tight reporting deadline.
7) Good understanding and knowledge of corporate governance and regulatory compliance and accounting principles in Singapore, Japan and other Asian countries.
