Job Summary
Lead advanced English programs and student advisory services to help students achieve native-level English proficiency and successfully transition into local and international academic pathways.
Responsibilities
- Manage and refine rigorous curricula to transition students into the local Singaporean syllabus, including O-Level preparation
- Oversee intensive preparation programs for key benchmark tests such as IELTS and TOEFL
- Advise students on overseas university selection, application strategies, and personal statement development
- Lead and mentor a team of English educators, enhancing their teaching methods for phonetics, academic writing, and comprehension for non-native speakers
- Implement assessment metrics to track students progress toward native-level fluency and academic readiness for top global universities
- Collaborate with students and parents to develop individualized academic and career pathways integrating language acquisition and long-term goals
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Applied Linguistics, Educational Counseling, or related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience teaching English to foreign students with a focus on advanced proficiency and academic bridging
- Proven experience preparing students for the local syllabus (O-Levels) and international standardized tests (IELTS, TOEFL)
- Direct experience in educational consultancy with knowledge of overseas university application processes
