This person will have the opportunity to lead engineering teams, oversee complex projects, and drive innovation in semiconductor manufacturing equipment and after-sales support services. In this role, you will partner with senior leadership from concept and feasibility study through project execution, budget management, and continuous improvement. You will also be frequently interfacing with cross-functional teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure successful delivery of technical solutions.

Job functions:

The ideal candidate shall be able to perform the following:

  • Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle, from site measurement, tool inspection, installation, pilot run to mass production support.

  • Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and timelines, ensuring cost-effective delivery without compromising quality or safety.

  • Drive innovation by identifying new technologies, processes, and one-stop solutions to address client business challenges.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company protocols across all engineering activities (including safe handling of regulated chemicals where applicable).

  • Collaborate with logistics, parts sales, and after-sales teams to optimize inventory management, shipping, and emergency on-call service.

  • Define, implement, and document engineering changes, version controls, and FMECA processes.

  • Collect and analyze complex technical and financial data to make informed strategic decisions.

  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, external clients, and suppliers, presenting reports and proposals to senior leadership.

  • Develop and execute improvement plans based on root cause analysis, driving continuous enhancement of equipment reliability and service efficiency.

  • Foster a proactive, dynamic team culture that can navigate ambiguous environments and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree minimum, Master's degree preferred, in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field of study.

  • 8+ years of engineering experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or management role (experience in semiconductor industry is a strong plus).

  • Proven project management experience PMP certification is strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, allocate resources, and oversee multiple complex projects simultaneously.

  • Strong leadership and relationship management skills, including ability to navigate the organization and influence decisions.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to present complex information to diverse stakeholders (technicians, clients, executives, suppliers).

  • Self-starting individual with ability to take initiative, work independently, and drive teams toward results.

  • Knowledge of safety standards, compliance, and quality management systems in industrial or semiconductor environments.

  • Strategic thinker with a proactive mentality and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced start-up environment.
