Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Strategies Efficiency Programme for Global Operations

  • Develop and animate plans to foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Analyze cost metrics and benchmarks to identify and address operational inefficiencies
  • Collaborate cross functional initiatives with stakeholders to ensure realistic action plans are implemented and measurable to achieve maximum impact.
  • Develop action plans and drive strategies to address cost variances
  • Drive innovation and experimentation across offices

Manage Global Efficiency Programme

  • Monitor and report on Efficiency performance metrics in a timely manner
  • Validate the numbers reported from the various BUs/ROs/Agencies based on the aligned framework to ensure integrity and transparency.
  • Manage best practices and help to evangelise and communicate these practices for adoption across the global offices.

KPI Tracking for Logistics Division

  • Coordinate the KPI Tracking and coordination across Logistics Division
  • Validate the KPI numbers provided by each department prior to submission
  • Drive efficiency improvements across all business units in global offices.
  • Lead cross functional projects to ensure smooth roll out of efficiency initiatives
  • Ensure execution of action plans and measure its impact on cost / activities.

Job Requirements

  • Master or Bachelor Degree
  • A minimum of 10 years experience in operations, supply chain and/or process improvement implementation
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Strategic thinker with ability to align improvement initiatives with organizational goals
  • Team player and strong relationships builder
  • Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making, problem-solving, and process analysis
  • Effective communicator with stakeholders, team members, and external partners
  • Change agent that embraces and drives organizational change
  • Results-orientation focuses on achieving measurable results and continuous improvement
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members in efficiency improvement principles and practices
  • Familiarity with liner shipping operations and processes
