Job Purpose
Reporting to Head, Distribution Performance and Operations, the candidate is responsible to support the Head in the areas of distribution management reporting and strategies of both agency and bancassurance channels across the Group. The scope will include Agency, FA & Bancassurance channels in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia as well as Brunei Branch.
The Job
- Prepare regular management reports, Board/Exco material and presentation packs including analytical data and commentary on key performance drivers of the sales channels as well as status updates of channel strategies.
- Support in the annual strategic planning process as well as periodic forecasting of business and its drivers across all channels.
- Support the annual strategy discussion to support business growth and monitor development and implementation of strategic projects launched for distribution channels.
- Provide analytical function and insights on distribution performance and behavior to support decision making process.
- Support the Head in the regional initiatives and work together with channel heads to develop, review and refine business development strategy.
- Work cross-functional to ensure the delivery of distribution strategic initiatives and execute any ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
- Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
- Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
- Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science or related.
- At least 5 years of working experience with insurance industry knowledge and experience in MIS reporting, particularly Tableau.
- Possesses the following qualities: analytical, strategic, strong business acumen and sense of numbers, meticulous and proactive.
- Expertise in MS. Office: Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, graphs, charts, macros, etc) and Power Point.
- Ability to automate processes and reports for distributors as well as internal management.
- Good knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL), Phyton and working knowledge of systems and its database and ability to extract data will be an added advantage.
- High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
