The role is responsible for ensuring that all outputs of the Distribution Management team are timely, accurate, and aligned with the expectations of internal and external stakeholders.
What You'll Do
Intermediary Lifecycle Management (Life & General Insurance)
Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle management of all insurance intermediaries, including:
- Onboarding of new intermediaries
- Intermediary movements, including transfers, promotions, and demotions
- Offboarding of intermediaries, including policy portfolio handling and transfer arrangements
Customer Service & Operational Support
- Oversee change-of-agent requests from policyholders across all business lines
- Ensure effective and timely resolution of operational queries and requests for assistance from internal and external stakeholders
Regulatory & Compliance Oversight
- Monitor and administer debt recovery processes for internal distribution channels
- Oversee Do Not Call (DNC) Registry checks for distribution activities
- Coordinate annual licence renewal exercises for General Insurance (GI) agents
- Prepare and submit intermediary-related reports to internal stakeholders, regulators, and industry associations within agreed timelines
- Handle internal and external audits related to Distribution Support
People Management & Supervisory Responsibilities
- Guide, mentor, and develop junior team members
- Review and streamline existing operational processes to ensure relevance and efficiency
- Assess and update processes to align with regulatory requirements and industry developments
- Review, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Other Duties
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new systems and process enhancements to ensure operational readiness and regulatory compliance
- Undertake ad-hoc projects and assignments as required by management
What You'll Need
- Degree or Diploma in any discipline
- At least 5 to 8 years of supervisory experience managing a team of 5 to 7 staff, preferably in Distribution Support, Operations, or Administration
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, and experienced in mail merge processing
