The Digital Customer Platforms Application Production Manager is responsible for ensuring the stability, availability, and operational readiness of application environments supporting key customer‑facing platforms. This role provides end‑to‑end governance over production incident, change, and release activities, while proactively mitigating operational and regulatory risks. Effective coverage of this function is critical to minimising service disruptions, avoiding release delays, and maintaining confidence in the organisation's digital platforms.

- Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of application platforms.
- Lead response for incidents, ensuring timely resolution and stakeholder communication.
- Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and follow-through on corrective actions and ensure incident learnings and operational knowledge are captured and shared.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and health-check mechanisms.
- Coordinate application releases across infrastructure, application, security and business teams with minimal downtime.
- Investigate complex production issues requiring deep business and functional understanding.
- Perform impact assessment across application platforms, products and services.
- Differentiate between system defects, configuration issues, process gaps, and user behaviour.
- Identify improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and resilience.
- Ensure solutions and services in all environments comply with security, data protection, and regulatory policies.
- Support risk assessments, internal and external regulatory / compliance / audits.
