Overview
We are seeking a technical leader to drive the evolution of our digital commerce platforms across APAC. This role will oversee engineering delivery, platform architecture, and performance for a regional Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders while leading external vendors and offshore development teams to deliver scalable, high-performing digital commerce solutions.
Responsibilities
Commerce Platform Engineering
- Lead the technical development and architecture of the SFCC B2C platform.
- Drive platform enhancements and ensure scalable, high-quality engineering delivery.
Modern Web & Headless Commerce
- Support the development of headless commerce storefronts and PWA experiences using technologies such as React, JavaScript, and Node.js.
- Ensure seamless integration between the storefront and backend commerce systems.
Platform Integrations
- Oversee integrations between the commerce platform and key systems including CMS, PIM, OMS, payment gateways, and marketing platforms.
- Ensure reliable API-driven architecture across the digital ecosystem.
Engineering Delivery & Vendor Management
- Manage external engineering vendors and offshore development teams.
- Oversee delivery of platform enhancements, system upgrades, and new capabilities.
DevOps & Platform Performance
- Drive best practices in CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and DevOps processes.
- Ensure platform reliability, performance optimization, and incident management, particularly during major commercial events.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in e-commerce engineering, software development, or digital commerce platforms.
- Strong experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC B2C).
- Experience with modern web technologies such as React, JavaScript, Node.js, or headless/PWA commerce architectures.
- Experience managing external vendors or offshore engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and API-driven architecture.
- Experience integrating e-commerce platforms with CMS, PIM, OMS, payment gateways, or MarTech systems.
- Exposure to AI-driven commerce capabilities such as personalization, recommendations, or intelligent search is a plus.
