Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end data center strategy for APAC—identify greenfield/brownfield expansion opportunities, assess site feasibility, and model ROI for new builds or acquisitions.
- Partner with real estate, finance, and engineering teams to structure capital-efficient deals, negotiate land/utility agreements, and align with ESG and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Build business cases for new markets, including power availability, cooling efficiency, connectivity backbone, and local policy risks—presenting to C-suite and board for approval.
- Define and track KPIs for expansion success: capex per MW, time-to-market, tenant uptake rate, and carbon intensity benchmarks.
- Collaborate with vendors, government agencies, and hyperscalers to align on zoning, permits, and co-location agreements across Singapore, Indonesia, Japan, and Vietnam.
- Own the APAC expansion roadmap—translating market intelligence into phased capital deployment plans with clear milestones and escalation paths.
