MANAGER, CREDIT EVALUATION & DECISIONING, WHOLESALES CREDIT RISK

Job Descriptions:-

• Primarily responsible for assessment of all credit applications, identify risks associated with such exposure and make appropriate recommendations to the relevant AA for approval.
• Performance Management:

i) Manage Credit Underwriting standards and quality.

ii) Manage Standard Turnaround Time

• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with credit lending policies
• People Management:

i) Joint calls with Business Unit (where necessary)

ii) Report on progress to Team Lead / Senior Underwriter

• Manage turnaround time for new/enhance/ad-hoc credit proposition (including change of terms) vigilantly without compromising the credit standards
• Manage TAT for review credit proposition vigilantly without compromising the credit standards.
• Attend customer presentation and meeting if necessary to Know Your Customers.
• Keep abreast of market/industry development and trends.
• Conclude the credit propositions.
• Signed off credit risk rating as per CRR policy.
• Ensured regulations/internal policies/GRAFs are followed in letter and in spirit.
• To complete Certified Credit Executives and Business Credit Professionals (for those not completed yet)
• Use the Bank's IDP as a tool to facilitate immediate and long-term professional development.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor degree in finance/accountancy/economic or related field, or relevant professional qualification eg. CPA, ACCA, CIMA.
• Certified Credit Executive (CCE) (preferable)
• Front line experience would be an added advantage.
• Min 5 years working experience in banking industry with at least 3 years credit experience in SME and/or Commercial.
• Business Credit Professional (BCP) (preferable)
