Reporting to the Director, this position will station in Singapore and involves in managing, negotiating and recording business contracts. May be assigned for overseas (i.e. Greater China) secondment or intermittent traveling for project works.
A Day in the Life
- Responsible for crafting, evaluating and executing the contracts entered by the Company
- Maintain records for correspondences and documents in relation to the established contracts and those in progress
- Communicate and present material information to stakeholders about all contract-related matters.
- Monitor contracts and move forward with close-out, extension or renewal according to what's best for the company
- Solve any contract related problems that may arise with other parties
- Manage the costing for tender submissions and ROM (Register of Magnitude) for estimation purposes
- Create and maintain relationships with suppliers and serve as the point of contact for the project assigned
- Negotiate with suppliers for best quotations
- Review the LOI / LOA / Quotations and claims from suppliers
- Monitor cash flow for awarded projects
- Prepare progress claims for submission to consultants/clients
- Attend site valuation with consultants and prepare costing for variation orders
What we are looking for
- Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related discipline
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in construction and / or commercial projects / retail and corporate office interiors
- Experience in events / exhibitions / museum / gallery / thematic works projects will be an added advantage
