Extreme Event Solutions at Verisk (formerly AIR Worldwide) is looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and ambitious Manager to join our Consulting and Client Service Team in Singapore. The mission of our team is to build client relationships based on the detailed knowledge of extreme event management products to meet the needs of our client's modeling workflow, so they can easily understand their risk. We strive to provide exemplary service and support that allow clients to obtain the maximum value from the products and services they license from us.
Responsibilities
- Drive ongoing client engagement by conducting regular check-ins, tracking satisfaction and uncovering growth opportunities.
- Act as the dedicated account manager for assigned clients, overseeing their full Verisk support journey
- Support our business development team in sales efforts in a technical and pre-sales support capacity.
- Deliver engaging and insightful training sessions to clients, empowering them to utilize Verisk tools and models effectively
- Respond to client questions promptly and work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve them, while building strong relationships with users to understand their workflows and provide proactive, value-added support.

- Communicate Verisk's offerings to new and existing clients across the full range of our solutions to an audience with a mixed experience level.
- Communicate with clients to develop project timelines and manage deliverable expectations.
- Perform a wide of range of risk analyses in support of consulting projects, client support, and internal initiatives.
- Work closely with our business development and senior management teams to develop and maintain client-specific performance objectives.
- Support model and product change management efforts when model updates or new features are introduced in our software.
- Provide input to our internal teams regarding the evolution of our products based on client feedback and your internal usage of our products. Remain engaged with the internal teams through feature design, development, and release.
- Plan and coordinate logistics for client-facing events, including preparing presentation materials and organizing on-site support.
- Serve as an ambassador of Verisk to our clients and prospects.
Qualifications
- A degree in science, engineering, or mathematics is preferred, with 8 + years of experience in catastrophe modelling experience
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a solid understanding of probability concepts.
- A passion for client service, with excellent oral and written communication skills—able to explain complex ideas clearly and effectively
- Hands-on experience in catastrophe risk modelling, ideally using Verisk's suite of models
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Familiarity with the insurance/reinsurance markets is preferred
- Coding skills in SQL, R, or Python will be highly beneficial; knowledge of ArcGIS is a plus
