Manager, Community Engagement
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Manager, Community Engagement to lead and grow SPIN's community and corporate relations, volunteer engagement, outreach and communications efforts. This role oversees volunteer management, events and activities, and resource coordination to strengthen partnerships and expand impact for single parents.
Key Responsibilities
Community Relations, Recruitment & Outreach
- Develop and implement strategies to cultivate corporate and community partnerships.
- Design and execute engagement initiatives, events and outreach activities.
- Build strong relationships with government agencies, corporate partners and key stakeholders.
- Oversee external communications in partnership with HCSA Strategic Communications team.
- Develop and manage corporate and community volunteer activities.
- Support SPIN alumni engagement in advocacy and volunteerism.
- Co-lead strategic fundraising initiatives for SPIN.
Content Development & Channels Management
- Oversee social media and website strategies to increase awareness and programme intakes.
- Develop marketing and engagement materials for various target audiences.
Resource Development & Coordination
- Identify and engage partners to support SPIN operations and programmes.
- Oversee volunteer resource coordination and corporate engagement activities.
- Ensure sound administration and fiscal management of donations and funds.
- Lead the Community Engagement team in curating and implementing structured signature programmes for single parents.
Implementation & Analysis
- Leverage technology platforms to analyse beneficiary, volunteer and event data to identify trends.
- Participate in organisation-wide projects and committees when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in a related field).
- 3-5 years of experience in volunteer/community management. Experience in social services, charity or non-profit organisations is required.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, social media and/or digital marketing tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexible to work weekends when required.
