Clinical Solutions Engineer & Consultant – AI & Clinical Workflows EndeavourX
About the Role
At EndeavourX, we are transforming healthcare delivery through advanced AI and customised data platforms. The Clinical Solutions Engineer & Consultant is an externally-facing role that sits at the intersection of a technical and clinical workflow expertise and human-centred design. You are the critical bridge between our AI capabilities and the clinical realities of our healthcare partners — equally comfortable discussing FHIR-based integrations with a hospital's IT team, conducting contextual research with frontline clinicians, and shaping how AI fits into real-world care delivery.
You will partner closely with Sales, Customer Success Managers, and internal Product and Engineering teams across the full customer journey — from initial discovery and deal support through to pilot validation and long-term adoption.
Target/Quota
Collaborative quota tied to regional ARR targets, with MBOs based on successful pilot conversions and measurable clinical adoption outcomes post-deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Discovery & Workflow Research
Lead deep-dive engagements with hospital leadership, CMIOs, clinical department heads, and frontline clinicians to understand current workflows, decision-making processes, and operational constraints. Apply user-centred design and qualitative research methods — including interviews, observations, and contextual inquiry — to surface clinician pain points, cognitive load challenges, and adoption barriers that purely technical discovery would miss.
Workflow & Service Design
Analyse and document current-state clinical workflows and service delivery models using service design artefacts such as workflow maps, journey maps, and service blueprints. Collaborate with customers to co-design future-state workflows that incorporate AI-enabled support. Translate future-state workflow designs into implementation roadmaps that identify key milestones, stakeholder responsibilities, training requirements, operational dependencies, and adoption measurement frameworks.
Technical Solution Architecture
Translate clinical and operational requirements into customised data platform solutions. Confidently engage hospital IT teams on healthcare data interoperability (HL7, FHIR, API integrations), EHR integration approaches, data security, and the practical application of AI and machine learning in clinical settings.
Human–AI Interaction & Clinical Validation Serve as the primary subject matter expert on how clinicians interact with AI outputs within clinical workflows — including considerations of trust, explainability, and usability. Design and deliver tailored demonstrations and evaluations that prove clinical ROI, workflow efficiency, and data security to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Project Management & Cross-Functional Delivery
Lead the planning and execution of customer-facing discovery engagements, proofs-of-concept, pilots, and implementation projects from initiation through adoption. Develop project plans, define milestones, success criteria, risks, dependencies, and resource requirements in collaboration with customers and internal teams. Coordinate activities across Sales, Customer Success, Tech, and customer stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and achievement of business and clinical outcomes.
Internal Translation & Product Feedback
Act as the voice of the customer to internal Product and Engineering teams. Translate user research findings, workflow insights, and usability patterns into structured inputs that inform the AI roadmap and product improvement. Document use cases, workflow analyses, and UX insights to support internal alignment and knowledge sharing.
