Manager

We are seeking a Manager to join our team to support the efficient expansion of Climant Impact in the Asia Pacific region and deliver the highest standard of consulting services to our clients. As a Manager, you will contribute actively to business development, strengthen proposal development, develop and share insights, make recommendations, and coordinate key milestones while staying informed of market developments. Your role must be performed in full compliance with Climant Impact's standards for quality, safety, legal compliance, and ethics. Your role is based in Singapore.

Scope of Work

1. Manage customer relationship and project delivery

• Lead end-to-end delivery of low-carbon and sustainability strategy engagements for public and private sector clients, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Translate ambiguous low-carbon and sustainability challenges into structured problem statements, workplans, and analytical frameworks
• Serve as the primary day-to-day client interface, ensuring alignment with senior stakeholders and decision makers

2. Contribute actively to business development

• Build Climant Impact's offers and client base, leveraging your client knowledge, expertise, and market insights
• Drive proposal development by determining client needs and project approach along with defining the project team resourcing and budget/fees
• Engage with external stakeholders such as regulators, industry bodies, and technology partners to support ecosystem positioning through partnerships and industry platforms
• Represent the firm at industry conferences, policy forums, and roundtables, contributing expert perspectives on energy transition, sustainability, and emerging technologies

3. Develop internal operational systems and capabilities

• Build internal capabilities in low-carbon and sustainability tools, methodologies, and domain knowledge
• Design and support the implementation of AI-enabled operational systems to enhance delivery efficiency, knowledge management, and decision-making across sustainability consulting engagements
• Manage and develop people
• Manage and mentor junior consultants, structuring workstreams and ensuring quality control

Prerequisites

We are looking for talented and motivated people to create the future of climate transition with us. The following experiences and skills would be considered favorably in your application:

1. Educational and professional background

• A bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree in engineering, environmental sciences, economics, finance, public policy, business administration, or a related discipline
• An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred
• At least 5 years of experience in strategy consulting, sustainability consulting, or relevant industry roles (e.g., renewable energy procurement, sales, or development)

2. Core consulting skillsets

• Strong track record in managing and delivering multiple project workstreams and teams in a consulting or corporate environment under tight deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to structure complex problems and develop hypotheses, conduct advanced qualitative and quantitative analysis, and translate insights into clear, executive-level recommendations
• Proven ability to lead client engagements and manage senior stakeholders while navigating ambiguity to drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including executive presence
• Experience applying AI to accelerate consulting workflows, including data analysis, document review, and hypothesis generation

3. Commercial and business development acumen

• Experience contributing to proposals, bids, or business development activities
• Ability to identify client needs and translate them into structured project opportunities

4. Low-carbon energy and sustainability domain expertise

• Experience in one or more of the following areas: decarbonisation and transition planning, renewable energy supply and procurement, ESG frameworks and reporting, and climate risk and scenario analysis
• Strong understanding of how sustainability links to business value creation and risk mitigation
