Resource Management:Overseeing transportation budgets, manpower, and external suppliers.
Compliance:Ensuring adherence to all relevant transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Dispatching and Tracking:Coordinating the movement of vehicles, tracking shipments, and managing logistics software.
Communication:Maintaining clear communication with drivers, dispatchers, warehouse staff, and other stakeholders.
Problem Solving:Investigating and resolving transportation-related issues, such as delays, damage, or customer complaints.
Performance Monitoring:Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and identifying areas for improvement in transportation operations.
Safety Management:Promoting a safe working environment through safety audits, training, and enforcement of safety protocols.
