Manager, Business Development (Brokerage & Trading Platform Solutions)
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify potential institutional clients: Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify key decision-makers in target clients such as trading firms, investment brokerages, liquidity solution providers.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan: Create a targeted approach to penetrate the broker and trading platform market, outlining key activities and timelines.
- Build and maintain strong relationships: Cultivate and nurture relationships with key stakeholders at target institutions, including portfolio managers, traders, and C-level executives.
- Present and demonstrate investment solutions: Effectively communicate the value proposition through presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
- Stay up-to-date on market trends: Maintain a deep understanding of the financial markets, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment.
- Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with marketing, product development, and client services teams to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in new business development or a related field, focusing on investment solutions selling to brokers, investment firms, etc.
- Knowledge on 1 or more asset classes: equities, fixed income, investments, structured products.
- Strong understanding of the financial markets and trading products.
