The Opportunity
As the MANAGER, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & EXPERIENCE at CIVIL SERVICE CLUB, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business growth and enhancing the overall customer experience. Reporting to Director, Business Development & Experience, you will be responsible for driving sales, identifying and capitalising on strategic opportunities to expand the Club's business portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Drive sales and achieve revenue targets for M.I.C.E., corporate events, function rooms and Chalets
Implement innovative sales and marketing strategies to attract new business and corporate clients
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, government agencies and event organisers.
Manage the sales pipeline and oversee the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals
Collaborate with the experience team to enhance the overall customer journey and ensure exceptional service delivery
Monitor room occupancy and venue utilisation across all 5 locations and implement strategies to maximise bookings.
Prepare annual budget, attend Management, Sub-Committees and EXCO Meetings.
Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform strategic decision-making
Lead and motivate teams, providing coaching, training, and performance management
Contribute to the development of the Club's long-term business strategy and expansion plans

Proven track record of success in new business development within the hospitality industry
Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to identify and convert new business opportunities
Strong understanding of customer experience management and a commitment to delivering exceptional service
Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
Relevant tertiary qualifications in hospitality, business, marketing, or a related field

CIVIL SERVICE CLUB is the home club for the Public Officers and organising body of many Public Service activities and the STAR Games, for networking and recreation.
The Club offers an array of facilities, activities and the preferred venue for events for our members, the Public Service agencies and Private Corporations. Today, Civil Service Club, is more than just for sports and fitness, it is synonymous to one's lifestyles, hobbies, and interests, where individuals and families could come together for unanimous fun and quality time! At present, we have 5 locations with distinct experiences located at Bukit Batok, Changi 1, Changi 2, Loyang and Tessensohn to serve our Members and Public Officers.
