Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Assistant Manager / Manager (Open Innovation):
Job Responsibilities:
- Translate organisational strategies into innovation roadmaps, with thematic focus areas such as Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS), electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure, and related domains.
- Identify, assess, and engage startups, scaleups, and partners aligned with strategic priorities
- Lead and manage initiatives such as open calls, startup challenges, and hackathons
- Develop and maintain governance frameworks, tools, and templates for tracking project risks, deliverables, and performance
- Oversee the innovation pipeline from idea generation through to proof-of-concept and pilot deployment
- Maintain a portfolio of innovation projects and partner engagements
- Cultivate an innovation-oriented culture through internal engagement, learning sessions, demos, and showcases
- Act as a change agent to drive innovation awareness and cross-functional collaboration
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline (e.g. Innovation, R&D, Business, Technology)
- At least 6 - 10 years of relevant experience in innovation management, R&D, product development, or startup collaboration
- Proven experience in managing open innovation programs, accelerators, or ecosystem partnerships
- Familiarity with innovation ecosystems in the Asia region (startups, VCs, academia, industry partners)
- Strong business acumen and the ability to assess both technical and commercial potential of emerging technologies
- Demonstrated understanding of future mobility trends (e.g. EVs, ADAS, AI, connected mobility, sustainability)
- Entrepreneurial mindset and experience in lean/agile innovation methodologies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage across levels and functions
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, multicultural, and dynamic environments
- Willingness to travel within Southeast Asia
Additional Information:
- Salary: Up to SGD 8,400 + AWS + VB (4 - 6 Months)
- Working Location: Tanjong Pagar
- Working Hours: 5 Days Work, 9am - 6pm
