Job Description
Administration of the postgraduate programmes and other related activities of the Graduate Studies Office.
- The candidate will be part of the Graduate Studies administration team.
- Work closely with the team on GD research programme application and admissions matters.
- Provide support to Vice/Assistant Dean in the administration of postgraduate research degree programmes including admissions, student academic matters, curriculum administration, examination matters, etc.
- Involve in implementation of curriculum and policies.
- Manage research programme scholarship matters.
- Assist in budget preparations and projections, and management of related programme funding matters.
- Manage academic-related events for graduate students, as well as programme outreach, publicity, orientation and adhoc student events.
- Consolidation and preparation of data and statistics, and drafting of reports or proposals, etc
- Any other duties assigned.
Qualifications
- Possess a bachelor's degree, with at least 6 to 8 years of relevant administrative work experience
- Prior experience in working for an educational institution is preferred
- Possess positive attitude, meticulous and able to multi-task
- A good team player who is proactive, self-motivated and well-organized with the ability to work well under pressure as well as tight deadlines
- Possess strong interpersonal skills with good written and oral communication skills
- IT/System savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
