About the Partnership Lab
The Partnership Lab is NYC's strategic engine for 4P collaboration — working across the Public, People, Private, and Philanthropic sectors to co-create opportunities for youth development. We design programmes, structure grants, build data systems, and continuously improve the processes that make partnerships count.
What You Will Be Working On
Partnership Development
- Build and manage partnerships across the public, people, private, and philanthropic sectors to create meaningful opportunities for youths.
- Set up and manage grants and tools, including AI and data visualisation, to ensure partnerships deliver lasting impact.
Programme Design - Co-design and manage youth programmes with partners, including the National Youth Mentoring Movement, Job Tasters, Youth-Led Projects, Curiosity Credits, and Financial and AI Literacy initiatives, to connect youths with mentors and organisations.
- Track programme performance by gathering feedback, analysing data from NYC's platforms (e.g. DISCOVER), and building dashboards to support decision-making.
Grants and Procurement Management - Manage the full grant lifecycle, from reviewing applications to disbursing funds and closing grants.
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes in accordance with government guidelines, ensuring prudent use of public funds and identifying opportunities for improvement.
What We Are Looking For
- Strong communication and writing skills to engage effectively with youths, partners, and senior leaders across sectors.
- Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to thrive in fast-moving environments.
- Strong analytical skills, including data management and critical thinking.
- Experience or interest in working with youth groups or community organisations.
- Experience in mentoring, career transition support, or youth civic action and community-building.
- Knowledge of or interest in AI, technology skills development, or grant lifecycle management and compliance.
- Willingness to commit to occasional weekend work when required for programmes.
- Curious, accountable, and committed individuals with up to 3 years of working experience are welcome to apply.
