Manager

Job Description

• Oversee and supervise overall project execution and site activities

• Liaise with clients, designers, and consultants on design specifications and feasibility

• Coordinate with logistics and machinery departments to ensure smooth operations

• Propose and implement effective work methods and construction strategies

• Provide technical expertise and recommend improvements for project efficiency

• Lead and manage the project team to ensure timely and cost-effective completion

• Monitor project progress and performance against short-term and long-term goals

• Identify and manage project risks to minimize potential issues

• Ensure proper allocation and utilization of manpower on-site

• Inspect construction works to ensure compliance with approved specifications

• Review project progress and work closely with quantity surveyors on cost control

• Ensure all necessary approvals from relevant authorities are obtained before commencement

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations

Job Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent, OR

• Specialist Diploma in Construction Management, OR

• Degree in Building and Project Management, OR

• Specialist Diploma in Construction Productivity

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in a similar role

Skills and Knowledge

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project)

• Ability to interpret and understand construction drawings

• Strong knowledge of project planning and scheduling
