Overview of the Office of Campus Planning Communications role
The applicant will support the Office of Campus Planning (OCP) to:
Plan, develop and lead internal and external communications deliverables such as internal EDMs, feature stories, video-interviews etc. to drive Alexandra Hospital's brand awareness and increase mindshare.
Plan and coordinate stakeholder engagement sessions and where necessary - to develop public facing letters and manage a reasonable amount of public feedback.
Support key stakeholders in the delivery of Alexandra Hospital's corporate initiatives.
Support the planning and execution of OCP led campaigns, events and initiatives.
Prepare and draft press materials, speeches, feature articles, letters and announcements.
Any other duties as assigned.
Qualification Required and Area of Discipline
Degree in any communications or public relations discipline
(Degree in Mass Communications is highly preferred)
At least 6 years of relevant work experience, preferably with project management experience
Candidates with healthcare background highly preferred
Required Competencies and Capabilities (Skills, Experiences and Professional Licences)
Familiar with media, project, campaign and event management
Able to facilitate Stakeholder engagement sessions to be useful and productive.
Good documentation skills to ensure discussions are properly recorded for future reference.
Enthusiasm in healthcare planning topics and issues so as to identify newsy story angles for publicity
Strong linguistic capabilities, and ability to write papers for approval when required.
Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
