Job Description

About the Programme - Having a good start in your first career is of vast importance towards success. In Cogent, our Management Trainee Programme is specially designed for graduates to receive training and to assume management positions in the future.

About the Role - Management Trainees will undergo comprehensive training through assigned job rotations, along with learning and development programmes that will provide grounding and exposure to the wide spectrum of our businesses and operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Participate in training programs to improve soft skills and technical skills.
  • Participate in rotational programs across business units and departments within the organisation to gain broad operational knowledge.
  • Provide a full spectrum of administrative and operational support in day-to-day business operations in the assigned business unit / department and project management.
  • Learning all aspects of company's businesses and to acquire skills needed to assume a management position.
  • Analyse data, prepare reports, and provide recommendations to improve processes and performance to enhance overall organisational efficiency.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across business units and departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Learn the management viewpoints, company policies and best practices through assignments and rotations in various business units and departments.
  • Take on special assignments involving real-world problem-solving for various cases within the organisation.
  • Assist in maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders by ensuring service excellence.
  • Work closely with senior leaders to understand and provide support for strategic planning and decision-making processes.
  • Meet the key performance indicators (KPIs) set annually.
  • Adhere to and execute tasks as instructed by Managing Director, Senior Management, and supervisors to support organisational goals and strategic initiatives.

  • Recognised degree in any discipline
  • Entry level role
  • Self-motivated & results oriented
  • Independent & resourceful
  • Competent in problem solving & possess strong analytical skills
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills
