Role and Responsibilities
- Learn and execute the preparation of all meals to the highest quality standards
- Position kitchen staff according to operation needs to maximise kitchen efficiencies
- Manage quality and level of kitchen inventory as well as products delivered from suppliers
- Perform daily operation tasks
- Responsible for cooking and food preparation in a timely manner and according to the established Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
- Ensure compliance to food safety, highest quality of food and hygiene standards at all times
- Ensure kitchen is up to safety and cleanliness standard
- Cleaning of food preparation areas and kitchen equipment & ad-hoc duties
- Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene, appearance & deportment at all times
- To assist with staff orientation & on-the-job training in store when required
- To be familiar with the opening and closing procedures
- Undertake any other ad-hoc duties assigned by manager
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree holder
- Service focus, self-motivated, disciplined with good interpersonal and organisational skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Responsible and positive working attitude
- Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
- Possess basic command of English for communication
