A Store Management Trainee learns daily retail operations, assists staff supervision, and handles inventory management to prepare for a store manager, supervisor role.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to customer service, sales tracking, and visual merchandising.
Responsibilities:
Operations:
- Learn opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and point-of-sale systems.
Customer Service:
- Address customer needs, resolve complaints, and maintain high satisfaction standards.
Inventory Control:
- Monitor stock levels, track deliveries, conduct stock checks, and prevent loss.
Staff Support:
- Assist in scheduling, motivating and coaching the team, and tracking performance targets.
Merchandising:
- Maintain visual displays and product arrangements according to brand guidelines.
Requirements:
- Min Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Retail, or a related field.
- Strong communication, basic problem-solving, and good interpersonal abilities.
- Willingness to work retail hours, 6 days work week including weekends and public holidays.
- Eager to learn, adaptable to a fast-paced environment, and a strong team player.
