Management Trainee (F&B)

We are looking for individuals interested in changing careers to the F&B industry. Applicants with no previous F&B industry experience are welcome. If you love great food and coffee and enjoy working in a cafe setting, this is the place for you!

Job Description:

• Greet and welcome customers
• Provide excellent service experience to all customers
• Promote coffee consumption by educating customers
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, along with pastries
• Prepare and sell coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks, such as, espresso, latte, and cappuccino
• Handle food and beverage preparation and ensure desired quality and standards are achieved
• Handle all customer queries and feedback in a professional and timely manner
• Monitor and ensure the quality of food, customer services, hygiene, cleanliness and tidiness to achieve total customer satisfaction and meet the company's standards
• Handle cashiering duties and managing of ordering systems
• Rostering and managing of staff and attendance
• Conduct service training and improvements
• Report to Management regarding sales results and productivity
• Develop marketing strategies to improve sales and profitability
• Ensure that policies and standard operating procedures are strictly adhered to
• Oversee purchasing to stay within budget
• Able to be a backup for all position
• Assist any adhoc duties assigned by Supervisors/Managers
• Able to perform additional duties as requested by the Management as and when required
