Purpose: The Cost controller monitors the cost of NPI projects or a running program, highlights outliers, and drives corrective and preventive actions with respective stakeholders. The Cost Controller is part of the Business Control Team.
Key Area of Responsibilities:
- Monitor project/program profitability development closely and highlight outliers for early intervention.
- Control project/program costs by implementing corrective and preventive actions with respective stakeholders.
- Reduce product costs with stakeholders through defining and driving cost reduction roadmaps.
- Support cost and quote calculations with additional analysis, considerations and advice to ensure reliable expectations and predictable outcomes.
- Contribute to companywide improvement projects to increase profitability.
Qualification & Experiences:
- Bachelor's in business, Finance or other relevant field.
- Minimum 1 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing environment.
- Strategic, creative, and systemic thinking
- Effective communication with all levels.
- High level of end-to-end business process knowledge
- Data-driven, organized in thoughts
- Data analytics skills will be an advantage (VBA, SQL, Power BI)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
