Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and versatile Accounting & HR Systems Manager to lead the implementation of our new accounting and employee management system software, train staff, and take on long-term responsibility for managing the systems on a day-to-day basis.

The successful candidate will oversee the migration of historical data, ensure smooth system deployment, and continue as a key managerial figure responsible for the ongoing operation, optimization, and integration of accounting and HR processes within the company.

In addition, the role requires expertise in networking, cloud computing, and LAN management, including the setup of a centralized drive system to securely store, share, and back up company data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation and deployment of accounting and HR management systems.
  • Accurately migrate financial and HR data from the previous software.
  • Configure, customize, and integrate systems with payroll, leave, and compliance functions.
  • Train finance and HR staff on proper system usage and create standard operating procedures.
  • Take on ongoing responsibility as the Accounting & HR Systems Manager, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and smooth daily operations.
  • Oversee payroll processing, leave management, statutory filings (CPF, IRAS, MOM), and employee records.
  • Implement and manage LAN-based centralized drive for secure file storage, sharing, and backup.
  • Manage cloud-based system administration, data backups, user access, and security controls.
  • Ensure networking and cloud environments are optimized for speed, reliability, and data security.
  • Generate financial and HR reports for management review.
  • Liaise with external vendors, auditors, and regulatory bodies as needed.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in implementing and managing accounting and/or HRMS software.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles, payroll, HR practices, and statutory compliance.
  • Prior experience with LAN setup, centralized drive implementation, and cloud-based applications is strongly preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with accounting and HRMS software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, SAP, Zoho Books, Tally, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of LAN/WAN, centralized storage (NAS, shared drives, etc.).
  • Networking knowledge (VPN, firewalls, data security protocols).
  • Cloud platform knowledge.
  • Advanced Excel/SQL skills for data migration, analysis, and reporting.
  • Ability to configure systems, manage access controls, and generate compliance/management reports.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong leadership and managerial skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical ability.
  • Effective communication and staff training capabilities.
  • High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Singapore statutory compliance: CPF, IRAS submissions, and MOM regulations.
  • Previous managerial experience in finance, HR, or IT system administration.
  • Professional certifications in cloud computing, networking, or accounting/HR systems.
