Our Client

The Talent People is partnering with a leading global management consulting firm specializing in the transportation and mobility sectors. The firm advises a diverse client base including operators, asset owners, infrastructure players, and institutional investors, delivering independent, data-driven strategic insights.

With an established international presence across Asia, Europe, and North America, the firm is recognized for its deep sector expertise, strong analytical capabilities, and high-impact advisory work. As part of its continued growth in Asia, the Singapore office is looking to hire Associates and Senior Associates to join its expanding team.

About the Role

Associates and Senior Associates play a key role in supporting client engagements through rigorous analysis and structured problem solving. You will work closely with senior stakeholders in small, collaborative teams to address complex commercial and strategic challenges across the broader transportation ecosystem.

From the outset, you will contribute to market research, data analysis, and the development of strategic recommendations, gaining exposure to high-impact projects. As you develop, you will take on increased ownership of analytical workstreams, client interactions, and deliverables, supported by structured training and ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities

Client Project Delivery

  • Analyze market, financial, and operational data to support hypothesis-driven problem solving

  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to inform strategic recommendations

  • Develop financial models, commercial assessments, and analytical frameworks

  • Prepare clear, concise presentations and reports for senior stakeholders

Firm Building & Intellectual Capital

  • Contribute to internal initiatives supporting the firm's growth

  • Support the development of proprietary insights, methodologies, and knowledge assets

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with senior team members on client engagements

  • Collaborate with colleagues across regional offices in a team-oriented environment

Experience Required

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative or analytical discipline (e.g. Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics) with strong academic performance.

Core Qualities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Solid understanding of finance fundamentals

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Team-oriented and comfortable working in multicultural environments

  • Interest in transportation, infrastructure, or mobility sectors is advantageous

Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or other analytical roles with transferable skill sets

  • Candidates from adjacent backgrounds with strong analytical experience will also be considered

Travel

  • Occasional domestic and/or international travel may be required
