Maintenance Technician (Oil&Gas, 1 year contract, RVI Optical Equipments)

Salary: $3,500 - $4,500

Job Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support the repair, troubleshooting, and servicing of industrial video borescopes and inspection equipment. The role involves handling incoming repair cases, preparing quotations remotely, performing calibration and repair work, as well as supporting logistics and administrative coordination to ensure smooth service operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of industrial borescope and RVI equipment

• Ensure repair and service tasks are completed accurately and within turnaround time

• Prepare service reports, quotations, and other related documentation promptly

• Support customer enquiries and coordinate logistics arrangements

• Maintain and manage rental equipment inventory

• Ensure compliance with EHS and quality standards at all times

• Deliver quality service and support to enhance customer satisfaction

• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth workshop operations

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering

• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in a workshop or service environment

• Hands-on experience in mechanical and electronic troubleshooting and repair

• Experience repairing optical or inspection equipment will be an added advantage

• Familiar with electronic measuring tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes

• Proficient in MS Office and SAP

• Good communication and reporting skills

• Able to work in hardship environment
