The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance operations of the Club, ensuring all mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems, facilities, and equipment are well-maintained, safe, and fully operational. This role supervises technicians and contractors, coordinates maintenance activities, and ensures compliance with operational standards and regulatory requirements.
KeyResponsibilities
- Supervise, lead, and support M&E technicians in daily operations, ensuring work is carried out efficiently and in accordance with established standards.
- Plan, assign, and monitor maintenance tasks, repairs, and improvement projects to ensure timely completion.
- Oversee and coordinate contractors work, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
- Provide technical oversight and support for events, including setup, testing, and standby operations where required.
- Liaise and coordinate with internal departments to support operational needs, events, and facility requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve M&E issues, ensuring prompt response to breakdowns and emergency situations.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment, identifying defects and prioritising maintenance actions.
- Ensure all repair requests and operational complaints are attended to promptly and effectively.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including maintenance records, work orders, inspection reports, and logs.
- Ensure adherence to departmental SOPs, Club policies, and relevant regulatory requirements (e.g. safety, compliance).
- Monitor inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts, ensuring proper usage and stock control.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance efficiency, reliability, and service standards.
- Support other operational duties as assigned by the HOD or Management.
Requirements
- Possesses a minimum Higher Nitec in Mechanical or Building Services.
- At least two (2) years of relevant experience in a similar operational setting.
- Demonstrates knowledge of air-conditioning, electrical systems, sound systems, and plumbing.
- A valid plumber license is highly advantageous.
- Previous experience within the hotel or Club industry would be a plus.
- Exhibits strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capable of efficiently managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
