The Maintenance Superintendent shall be responsible for:
. A safe and cost-effective operation and maintenance of the Facility's production systems with minimal environmental impact in accordance with legislation, class, flag, and the Integrated Facility Management System.
. Fulfilling the risk management requirements by ensuring all risks in the production system, associate utilities operation and maintenance are identified, and procedures are established and implemented.
. Managing the human resources available to the production group so as to maintain a flexible and efficient work culture.
. Monitoring the planned maintenance system and to report any non- compliances.
. Assisting in the preparation of budgets and control expenditures in cooperation with the OIM and other department heads.
. Responsible for the preparation of monthly maintenance report.
. Administration and supervision of the Maintenance department which composed of lead techs, and technicians in the mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation field including the warehouse/store.
. Provide guidance to all his supervisors and crew in matters pertaining to the safe operating of the facility.
. Is deemed by position to ensure that compliance to the company SAMS is followed.
. Responsible for planning all preventative and corrective maintenance on the Facility and ensuring that it is carried out in a timely and safe manner.
. Ensure that safety critical maintenance is carried out as a priority and managed to secure the integrity of the
installation, any defects being reported to the OIM and recorded in the PAL - CMMS system
. Monitor equipment and systems to ensure that the required performance is maintained or enhanced in order to
ensure Asset Integrity.
. Manage the PAL - CMMS to ensure compliance and to report any non-compliance.
. Ensure that class and flag surveys are undertaken in a timely manner before their final date.
. Responsible for the hull, structure, tanks etc. of the FPSO and for the safe and efficient operation of plant and
machinery permanently installed on the FPSO and for temporary plant, fitted for specific tasks, and shall issue
Standing Orders to ensure its safe and efficient operation.
. Responsible for the management of all maintenance tasks, the planned maintenance system and unscheduled
repairs that may be necessary on the Facility's plant and machinery.
. Be familiar with the Facility's plant and machinery and shall ensure that the maintenance staff are adequately
trained in their safe operation and maintenance.
. Ensure that he has knowledge of safety requirements, including work permit system, operational and emergency
procedures, Company policy and instructions, and will ensure that the facilities maintenance staffs are aware of,
and understand them.
. Maintain accurate records, which shall be readily retrievable, and conform to the integrated facility management
system (SAMS) and ensure that all manuals and drawings are kept up to date.
. Responsible for ensuring the timely ordering of stores and spare gear and maintenance of sufficient on-board
stock levels, to ensure that the Facility's operational capabilities and safety are not jeopardized.
. Assist in major repairs, modifications and surveys and will keep the Production Department fully informed of facility status and all notifiable occurrences.
. Is the Area Authority for all operations in the technical/maintenance department requiring a work permit. Shall
ensure that all safety precautions are taken, and that the work is carried out in a safe manner. May appoint a
suitably qualified person to act as responsible person in his place but must inform the duty officer of any
appointment made.
. Ensure that all preventative measures are taken when bunkering.
. Issue written work instructions specifying the person in charge of the job / repair / etc.
. Liaise with Vendors, Contractors etc. and ensure that they are working within the requirements of the company
HSE philosophy. Also ensuring that they provide concise reports of all works carried out and that this is recorded
in the PAL-CMMS system
. Responsible for checking all third-party equipment, certificates of conformity including maintenance records and
histories to ensure that they comply with certificate of fitness and for confirming maintenance and fitness for
purpose of third-party hand tools and completing the Temporary Equipment Register accordingly.
. Responsible for on-board use and control of the PAL -CMMS and the issuing of reports from this system
The maintenance superintendent shall:
. Be fully conversant with the Facility Emergency Response Plan and his role within this plan, and is always prepared for such eventuality
. Ensure that he has knowledge of safety requirements, including work permit systems, operational and emergency
procedures, Company policy and instructions, and ensure that the Facility's Production staff are aware of, and
understand them.
. Ensure that discharges and emissions resulting from the process facility are within the limits stipulated by the
applicable laws and regulations.
. Ensure that controls and monitors to record such discharges and emissions are functioning and that these data
are properly reported.
. Attend all required HSE Mandatory training contained within the AMO's program as detailed in the Training Matrix.
. Comply with HSE requirement documents listed below: -

. Higher National Diploma/ Diploma level in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering and/ or other relevant qualification
. A demonstrable strong commitment to safety, health and the environment is essential to this position.
. Five (5) year experience in an offshore oil & gas environment preferably on a FPSO and 3 years experience
gained in the capacity of Maintenance Supt/Supervisor.
. Relevant operating experience on a Facility and detailed knowledge of tanker operations and maintenance
. Experience in the operation and maintenance of process equipment.
. Experience with Safety Management System and Computerized Maintenance Management System.
. Strong personal and interpersonal skills.
. NVQ level 4 in Electrical/Mechanical Qualification or equivalent
. MEMIR

. Yellow Fever Vaccination Cert.
