Line management responsible for Maintenance (Mechanical, E&I, Warehouse) team members
Implement and optimize Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance programs
Manage with maintenance planners/schedulers on optimized work plans
Ensure all works carried out by Maintenance team conform to the required Safety standards and Procedures, eg PTW compliance, Risk assessment, MOC compliance, etc
Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement sustainable corrective actions
Own and manage key reliability KPIs (not limiting), including:
MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures)
MTTR (Mean Time to Repair)
OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
Unplanned downtime reduction metrics
Preventive Maintenance (PM) compliance
Analyze maintenance and equipment data to identify performance trends, chronic failure modes, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
Develop and publish monthly Maintenance & Reliability performance reports, highlighting key insights, KPI results, downtime drivers, and recommended improvement actions
Provide data-driven recommendations to Plant stakeholders to enhance equipment reliability, optimize maintenance strategies, and reduce overall cost of ownership
Strengthen work order processes, planning, and scheduling effectiveness to ensure high-quality execution, proper prioritization, and efficient resource utilization
Ensure that appropriate maintenance strategies and industry best practices (CM, PM Optimization, precision maintenance standards) are applied to all maintenance and modification activities to achieve the highest levels of equipment reliability, availability, and performance
Eliminate repetitive and chronic failures through engineered solutions, asset redesign, preventive maintenance enhancements, and collaboration with engineering for long-term corrective actions
Lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean, Six Sigma, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and 5S, to enhance maintenance productivity, reduce waste, and improve asset performance
Develop long-term asset care strategies and capital replacement plans
Perform life-cycle cost analysis to guide repair/replace decisions
Collaborate with Technical and Production for equipment upgrades and CAPEX projects., and other improvement initiatives
Optimize spare parts usage and ensure critical spares availability
Build capability in maintenance teams
Work closely with other functional department, eg Production, Technology, Procurement, Finance, etc
Develop and Oversees Investment plans, Budgeting and Procedures
Present reliability findings and recommendations to plant or executive leadership
Hire, Train, Develop and Coach the Function team with diverse technical skill
Assessment and review of in-house contractors performance and the contract
Undertakes special assignments or projects as directed by the Manufacturing Director
Requirements
7-10+ years of experience in maintenance or reliability roles in manufacturing (Oil/ gas)
Previous leadership experience preferred
Supervisory experience to manage multi discipline team of maintenance, Project, Reliability functions
Experienced in managing Plant Turnaround event
Excellent People Management skill
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Good Negotiation and team alignment skills for conflicting Priorities
Experience of Manufacturing, Project management & maintenance work Processes preferred
Advance written & verbal communication skills
Experience with CMMS/EAM systems (SAP PM, Maximo, Infor, etc.)
