Job Description

Maintenance Planner

Our client is a pharmaceutical manufacturer. They are currently seeking for Maintenance Planner.

The role of the Maintenance Planner includes:

  • Coordinate and organize maintenance activities by preparing detailed work schedules, ensuring tasks are planned efficiently and tracked through the work order system.
  • Administer and maintain the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring all work orders are properly recorded with accurate information such as priority level, job type, equipment details, work status, labour utilization, materials consumed, and completion updates.
  • Oversee spare parts inventory by maintaining accurate records, conducting routine cycle counts, and supporting periodic stock audits to ensure inventory reliability.
  • Monitor and optimize spare parts availability by ensuring critical components are properly stocked and stored to maintain equipment readiness and operational reliability.
  • Maintain and update technical documentation related to plant operations, machinery, and maintenance activities to ensure records remain accurate and accessible.
  • Gather, organize, and manage essential technical references required for maintenance work, including engineering drawings, equipment manuals, procedures, and system diagrams.

Job Requirement:

. Engineering qualification at Diploma or Degree level in fields such as Mechanical, Electrical, Process, or Maintenance Engineering.

. Around three or more years of hands-on experience in maintenance planning or a similar function.

. Familiarity with digital maintenance management platforms (CMMS), with preference for candidates who have worked with Infor EAM asset management systems.

. Prior exposure to operations within a regulated manufacturing setting following current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) standards.

. Capable of developing, organizing, and maintaining documentation required for GMP compliance.

. Understanding of equipment qualification practices and documentation aligned with GMP expectations.
