Maintenance Mechanical Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and oversee daily maintenance activities in coordination with contractors and internal teams to ensure efficient and timely execution, while maintaining proper records and forward planning.

• Diagnose and resolve equipment-related faults, supporting both corrective and preventive maintenance to ensure reliable plant operations.

• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for routine maintenance services and major shutdowns, including planning, on-site execution, and communication with production teams.

• Support the development and continuous improvement of long-term maintenance strategies to enhance equipment reliability and minimize recurring issues.

• Manage spare parts inventory by tracking stock movements and assisting with procurement of tools, spare parts, and maintenance services.

• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance by maintaining calibration records, maintenance logs, and work orders in accordance with ISO standards and internal SOPs.

• Uphold AKSS EHS policies and ensure compliance with safety and environmental management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001), promote workplace safety, and contribute to reducing Major Accident Hazards (MAHs) to ALARP levels.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or Engineer in a chemical plant environment.

• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and maintaining chemical plant equipment.

• Basic knowledge of maintenance practices, mechanical systems, and manufacturing processes.

• Strong teamwork, communication skills, and a proactive, responsible work attitude.
