Job Summary
Lead and develop site-based maintenance and excellence teams to optimize automated handling system performance, improve processes, and ensure operational excellence in a safety-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the site-based Maintenance Team and Excellence Team to achieve operational goals
- Analyze automated handling system performance and implement improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency
- Communicate performance metrics and progress effectively with internal teams and customers
- Identify improvement opportunities, develop actionable plans, and execute solutions to optimize maintenance operations
- Manage and optimize spare parts inventory to support maintenance activities efficiently
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and tooling to streamline maintenance workflows
- Maintain continuous focus on Health and Safety standards to ensure a safe working environment
- Develop and manage maintenance team schedules and shift rotations to ensure optimal manpower and skill distribution
- Coordinate and distribute maintenance activities to meet operational demands and deadlines
- Rotate staff assignments to broaden skill sets and ensure adequate coverage across maintenance functions
- Collaborate with operations management to assess and mitigate maintenance impacts on daily operations
- Methodically analyze and improve departmental processes, including people development and team performance
