Position Name: CMMS Lead

As the CMMS Lead within the Maintenance and Reliability function, this role is responsible for ensuring the availability, effective use, and continuous improvement of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). The position plays a central role in supporting operational performance by coordinating CMMS support activities, user training, process documentation, and system enhancements to meet the needs of SBM and related functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the continuous improvement of the CMMS in line with operational requirements, contractual obligations, and integration with external systems.
- Ensure the integrity, consistency, and reliability of maintenance and asset data within the CMMS.
- Establish, document, and maintain all CMMS-related processes, ensuring they are accessible to the wider CMMS user community.
- Evaluate new CMMS functionalities and enhancements in collaboration with business stakeholders prior to deployment in the live environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years experience managing or leading a team.
- At least 5 years experience within a maintenance function in the oil & gas, shipping, or comparable asset-intensive industry.
- Advanced hands-on experience with enterprise-level maintenance management systems.
- Strong capability in database management and data analysis, including reporting and dashboarding tools.
