This position requires full relocation to Saudi Arabia. It is a permanent full time expat position with an attractive relocation package.


Overview

:We are seeking an experienced Delayed Coker/Visbreaker Engineering Specialist to join the Operation Engineering Solutions Department (OESD)

.
OESD's technical team is responsible for providing high-quality, multi-disciplinary support to Global Manufacturing operating facilities (Refineries, NGLF, and petrochemical plants) within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and globall

Your primary role is to provide in-depth process engineering and operations expertise to monitor, optimize, and drive performance improvement programs for refineries delayed Coker and visbreaker, including both remote and on-site technical advisory support, benchmarking, and technology knowledge manageme

nt.

  • fety.Develop and present quarterly benchmarking reports with actionable improvement recommendat
  • ions.Provide hands-on support in implementing performance improvement initiatives, demonstrating measurable results in closing identified gaps from quarterly benchmarking rep
  • orts.Lead benchmarking and best practices exchange workshops among Global Manufacturing facilities (wholly-owned and affiliates), and facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous improvement in delayed coker/visbreaker technolo
  • gies.Deliver on-demand remote and field technical advisory support, including troubleshooting, optimization, debottlenecking, revamp, and upgrade activities and provide detailed service reports for each support acti
  • vity.Drive performance improvement programs that enhance process safety, optimize manufacturing costs, and increase plant reliability for delayed coker/visbreaker u
  • nits.Develop and implement best practices and standards for delayed coker/visbreaker engineering and maintenance, while ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulat
  • ions.Provide expert technical support to project teams and contractors for delayed coker/visbreaker engineering and procurement activi
  • ties.Coordinate with other disciplines (process, mechanical, instrumentation, and electrical) to ensure optimal performance and integration of delayed coker/visbreaker equip
  • ment.Conduct regular audits and inspections of delayed coker/visbreaker equipment to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality regulations and stand
  • ards.Evaluate and recommend new technologies and innovations for delayed coker/visbreaker improvement and optimiza

tion.
Minimum Requirem

  • ents :
    You will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field. An advanced degree is pre
  • ferred.You will have a minimum of 15 years of experience across the refinery and/or petrochemical industry, with at least 10 years of hands-on experience in delayed coker/visbreaker spe
  • cialty.You will be able to optimize delayed coker/visbreaker operations, with specific examples of performance improvements ac
  • hieved.You will have comprehensive knowledge of delayed coker/visbreaker processes, equipment, and systems in refining and petrochemical indu
  • stries.You will have deep understanding of ASME Section VIII Divisions 1 & 2, ASME Section I, API-530, API-535, API-537, API-560, API-579, API-936, and NFPA standards applicable to fired equ
  • ipment.You will have Significant experience in inspection and failure analysis of delayed coker/visbreaker equ
  • ipment.You will have proficiency in basic and advanced NDE techniques related to delayed coker/visbreaker equ
  • ipment.High level of proficiency in using software tools related to delayed coker/visbreaker engineering and design, such as Aspen Hysys, ANSYS, an
  • d HTRI.You will have knowledge of remaining life calculations for heater tubes and refractory design and
  • repair.You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare and present technical reports to various aud
  • iences.You will also have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary
