We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant Engineer to support the maintenance and operation of security and IT-related systems at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of security systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and rectify system faults and technical issues.
- Support the maintenance of equipment such as CCTV, access control systems and related devices.
- Carry out system testing, updates and basic troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with customers and subcontractors on site activities and maintenance schedules.
- Prepare maintenance reports, checklists and related documentation.
- Monitor spare parts and equipment status.
- Support system improvement and maintenance-related projects when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Key Requirements
- Diploma in Engineering or a related discipline, preferably Electrical or IT.
- At least 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related technical environment.
- Experience with security systems or project-related work will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of security systems, servers or networking will be an advantage.
- Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willing to be on standby for after-hours fault calls on a rotational basis.
