Position Summary:

Lumileds is seeking for an Associate Engineer to take shift responsibility for operation duties when on-shift, ensuring equipment indices like MTBF, MTTR, uptime are met. Work with equipment, process and industrial engineers and Manufacturing to address issues pertaining to hardware and Corrective Maintenance. Support equipment engineers and vendors on equipment retrofit, upgrades and CIP. Lead and train technicians for Preventive Maintenance. Candidate should at least had worked on wafer fabrication machines such as Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapour Deposition (PECVD), dry etch, descum, dry strip , asher tools for at least 3 to 5 years.

What You Will Do:

• This position reports to PECVD-Dry Etch equipment Senior Engineer / Staff Engineer.

• The candidate will undergo OJT and will be attached to a mentor or a senior staff.

• The candidate will be able to perform various preventive and corrective maintenance and to gain fundamental knowledge in terms of quality/6S/Safety perspective and apply to daily work.

• Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Troubleshooting of equipment to meet Equipment Indices of MTTR, MTBF and OEE.

• Candidate must be willing to work rotating 12 hr day / night shift.

• Establish sufficient essential spares and consumables stock levels to support equipment maintenance.

• Lead and guide shift technicians on all equipment maintenance. Provide effective equipment trainings to the technicians to build up their technical competencies.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager/ Supervisor. Duties will vary according to the Production requirements and/or the specific goals of the module.

What You Will Bring (REQUIRED Qualifications):

• Diploma in Engineering.

• Hands on experience working on Chemical Vapour Deposition (CVD) or Dry Etch / Dry Strip / Descum is required.

• Candidate with strong vacuum and plasma technical knowledge or having similar working experience in equipment maintenance is welcome to apply.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office preferred.

• Team player, collaborative approach and resourceful.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
