Maintenance Assistant

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting works.
• Repair doors, windows, locks, cabinets, and other fixtures.
• Troubleshoot and fix minor electrical issues (lighting, switches, sockets).
• Carry out basic plumbing repairs, including leaks, clogged drains, and pipe fittings.
• Conduct regular inspections of premises and equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and service calls.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors when required.
• Support logistics requests and standby during events as needed.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Immediate Superior.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Technical or vocational training certification.
• Higher Nitec in Electrical or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in building maintenance.
• Proactive and able to work independently.
• Those without certificate but with relevant years of experience are encouraged to apply.
