Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician cum Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair tasks across company facilities, as well as transporting staff, goods, or materials as required. This dual-role position demands a proactive individual with strong technical skills, a valid driver's license, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. The candidate should be capable of troubleshooting and resolving minor electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues while ensuring timely and secure transportation services.
Job Description:
- To perform general repair works, including painting, patching of walls, electrical switches and other fixtures and equipment
- Perform minor plumbing and sanitary maintenance, including clearing blockages in toilets, basins, and floor traps, and repairing sanitary fittings as needed.
- Monthly cleaning of air-con filter
- Servicing, troubleshooting, and repairs for air conditioning and kitchen appliances.
- Manage breakdown, repair, and emergency service requests from various company outlets.
- Report and document all equipment faults, system deficiencies, and unexpected occurrences.
- To assist as and when required in relocation of furniture/ equipment.
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- A valid Class 3 license is required.
- Any other ad hoc duties assigned by the management
Job Requirement:
- Must be able to lift heavy items and use ladders or scaffolding as needed. The position may also require working in confined areas or at heights.
- The role involves working in a variety of environments, both indoors and outdoors, with potential exposure to dust and standard warehouse conditions.
- The role may require availability during evenings, weekends, or holidays to handle emergencies or scheduled maintenance activities.
