Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Mainframe System Administrator to manage and support the organization's IBM z/OS mainframe environment, including CICS, MQ, storage systems, and related infrastructure. The role involves system administration, platform support, maintenance, upgrades, and ensuring the stability, security, and availability of mission-critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support IBM z/OS mainframe environments, including CICS and MQ.
- Manage mainframe hardware, storage, tape, and SAN infrastructure.
- Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade mainframe systems and software.
- Provide L3 support, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
- Plan and execute system maintenance, changes, and platform enhancements.
- Support infrastructure projects, audits, risk assessments, and compliance activities.
- Manage security administration using RACF.
Requirements
- Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in mainframe system administration, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of z/OS, TSO, JES2, ISPF, RACF, JCL, CICS, and MQ.
- Experience with IBM mainframe hardware, storage, and system software.
- Good problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
