Job Description
- Carrying, packing and stacking bundles of newspapers- it involves carrying bundles to the table, break-bulking and packing, thereafter stacking the bundles back onto pallets.
- Line operations - it involves standing for a certain period of time at the Line Machines and occasionally needs to clear/carry jammed bundles of newspaper.
- Handling of Offline strapping machines - it involves carrying/lifting of bundles of newspaper.
- Work at the loading bay and oversee that the vendors and lorry drivers collect their papers correctly - it involves carrying bundles aside to check the labels.
- Transfer products manually and with pallet trucks
- Data entry work
Required Qualifications /Competencies / Skills / Knowledge
- N/O Level or higher
- Physically able to carry loads up to 20kg
- Willing to take on rotating day and night shifts
- Basic computer literacy
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Works well with a team
- Experience working in a factory environment is beneficial
