Set up and calibrate lathes, milling machines, and related equipment based on engineering drawings and machining requirements, performing operations such as grinding and drilling
Use a range of measuring instruments to inspect workpieces, adjusting machining parameters as needed to maintain quality standards.
Carry out routine operation, maintenance, and upkeep of machines and tools, including cleaning, lubrication, and regular inspections to keep equipment in optimal condition.
Follow company safety procedures and standards, promptly identifying and reporting any equipment faults or potential hazards.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives by suggesting enhancements to machining methods, increasing efficiency and product quality.
Support other departments with related tasks to ensure production timelines and quality standards are met.
Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
