Machinery Technician

Job Description

• Carry out maintenance, service, and repair of all process equipment with maximum degree of safety and quality
• Process rotating equipment: centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, diaphragm & metering pumps, screw pump, blower and fan, oil mist & lubricant systems, etc
• Major machines: centrifugal & reciprocating compressors, extruder, gas turbine generator, steam turbine driver, etc
• Hydraulic system: hydraulic pump, marine and truck loading arms, hydraulic control system
• Maintain proper records of all jobs performed in the SAP application and participate in mechanical related projects and plant modification work

Job Requirements

• For candidates with no working experience - Minimum NITEC in Engineering
• For candidates with working experience - Minimum N Level certification or equivalent with credits (C6 and above) for English, Mathematics and at least one Science subject (Physics, Chemistry, or Combined Science)
• Relevant work experience in the petrochemical or refining industry will be an advantage
• An effective team player with good communication skills
