Responsibilities
- Upload and download software and parameters to/from PC, machine, and server.
- Set up and adjust machines according to specifications, drawings, or setup sheets.
- Perform test runs to verify equipment functionality and product quality.
- Calibrate and adjust machine settings for proper operation and quality output.
- Collaborate with Engineering during machine setup.
- Maintain accurate setup records and documentation.
- Assist in improvements for setup processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues during setup.
- Support quality control as needed during buy-off.
Requirements
- NITEC in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or equivalent engineering fields.
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in Industrial Automation.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and technologies.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and knowledge of manufacturing software tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to apply engineering principles to real-world manufacturing challenges.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with various teams.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards in the manufacturing industry.
- Self-driven and motivated to continuously learn and grow technical abilities.
- Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if needed.
