Responsibilities

  • Upload and download software and parameters to/from PC, machine, and server.
  • Set up and adjust machines according to specifications, drawings, or setup sheets.
  • Perform test runs to verify equipment functionality and product quality.
  • Calibrate and adjust machine settings for proper operation and quality output.
  • Collaborate with Engineering during machine setup.
  • Maintain accurate setup records and documentation.
  • Assist in improvements for setup processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues during setup.
  • Support quality control as needed during buy-off.

Requirements

  • NITEC in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or equivalent engineering fields.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in Industrial Automation.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and technologies.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and knowledge of manufacturing software tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to apply engineering principles to real-world manufacturing challenges.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with various teams.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards in the manufacturing industry.
  • Self-driven and motivated to continuously learn and grow technical abilities.
  • Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if needed.
