Machine Learning Engineer - Video Recommendation-PGC- Singapore

Responsibilities

1. Design and develop TikTok's recommendation algorithms, build the largest and most diverse professional author creation and sharing platform.

2. Integrate machine learning techniques with various business scenarios to optimize models and strategies, continuously improving recommendation performance.

3. Collaborate closely with product and operations teams to deeply understand user and creator behaviors, and develop targeted algorithm strategies to foster a healthy ecosystem.

4. Research next-generation recommendation models based on Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) and full-lifecycle user sequence modeling.

Minimum Qualifications

- Master's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.

- For PhD holders: at least 1 year of relevant work experience.

- For Master's degree holders: at least 4 years of relevant work experience.

- Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.

- Hands-on software development experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++).

- Experience in one or more of the following areas: machine learning, recommendation systems, data mining, or related fields.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

- Passion for technology and solving challenging problems.

Preferred Qualifications

- Relevant work experience in social recommendation at a major internet company.

- Experience with large-scale distributed systems, GNNs, or sequence modeling.
